About HC Photonics
HC Photonics (HCP), founded in 2000, develops and manufactures nonlinear optical devices based on periodically poledlithium niobate (PPLN) and periodically poled lithium tantalate (PPLT). HCP enables efficient wavelength conversion across the 350 nm to 5 µm spectral range through nonlinear processes including SHG, SFG, DFG, OPO, OPA, OPG, and SPDC, supporting both CW and pulsed lasers from femtosecond to nanosecond regimes. The product portfolio includes bulk crystals, waveguides, and integrated fiber-coupled mixers, available as commercial off-the-shelf or custom solutions for spectroscopy, sensing, biomedical imaging, and advanced laser systems.
For quantum applications, HCP offers PPLN-based waveguide and fibered modules for quantum frequency conversion (QFC), enabling high-efficiency, low-noise wavelength translation for SPDC sources, single-photon up-conversion, and scalable quantum photonic platforms.
